Save yourself some time and grief. Don't bother with this "all-in-one software that lets you copy, create, convert, and burn your DVD movies". All it will accomplish is that it'll waste your time, waste your DVD media & test your patience. I feel so dirty having installed it on my PC!!!

I used the demo version and tried to burn a dvd twice and both times the app just froze and ruined both dvds. Very sad when when you have to wait so long for the encoding and then the burn process when it will just freeze on you at 98%. I have a good Sony dvdrw drive and 1024 mb of memory with only 1 program running (anti-virus) so it just couldn't be my computer. I would have to blame DVDSanta on this one. Boo hoo NOT Ho ho ho End comment: Definitely needs more work (and more features to make it worth the $30)

I downloaded this after hearing someone mention it because I needed an all-in-one solution to make DVD movies from my home movies, and DVD slide shows from my photos. The application does make a DVD from your home movie, but there's no option to create a DVD menu like there is in Aurora MPEG to DVD burner. Where this product truly fails is in creating DVD slide shows from your photos. In my experience, I noticed the following: 1. You can only preview your slide show one time. Try to do it again without closing and reopening DVD Santa, and the app locks and spikes the CPU at 100% 2. It incorrectly lists the length of an mp3 file chosen as a musical background. My song was just over 4 minutes and the app listed it as being well over 8 minutes. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and told it to sync the photos to the music length and sure enough, the song ended at just over 4 minutes, leaving me staring at photos with no music for another 5 minutes. 3. It will only use one song even though you have the option to add multiple songs. Twice I tried to use two songs to cover the 9 minute slide show and both times during preview, it played only the first song. 4. Manually choosing the zoom/pan for a particular picture doesn't work. I chose "Zoom in and pan left" for one particular photo but the app insisted on panning right. So, I chose "Zoom in to lower left corner" but again, it insisted on panning right. I had high hopes for this program, but it simply doesn't deliver. It feels like a very early beta version rather than a released product. Don't drop your cash on this.
